Launch of KiwiCurio

Collectibles Launch mohair Panda Bears Robin Rive bears Teddy Bears

Hi Bear-lover and lovers of all things New Zealand-ish,

I'm very excited to welcome you to the launch of our Kiwi Curio site. I am planning to introduce more unique and interesting New Zealand goodies, to appeal to both Collectors and people looking for unusual  gifts, made in New Zealand.

As a bit of background, I worked with my mother, teddy bear artist, Robin Rive from the UK for many years. I then took a break, starting a family whilst Robin focused on her farm and a new passion for Potting. This, in conjunction with a terrible Studio fire, left the Robin Rive Hugsters in quiet limbo for some years.

However, having just returned from living in London, I'm thrilled to embrace my kiwi roots, feeling the pull of the Teddy Bear World again.

To celebrate Robin Rives’ involvement in Collectibles for over 40 years, we're featuring some very special, small limited edition Bears on my new gift website. www.kiwicurio.com

I am working with Robin on creating special exclusive bears and want to offer you something a little different. You will love the Limited Editions of ONE, plus some very special final numbers from historical editions of Collectibles. All bears are fully jointed and created in the highest quality German mohair.

As patterns, moulds and fabric went up in smoke, these last teddy bears and collectibles are very sought after so keep checking as we add to our collection.

Enjoy our Hug and please subscribe on this site to receive information on the upcoming launch of a vintage-style range and new gifts. Subscribe here.

Beary Best wishes,

Brigitte
